Where did my order go?

Why were my funds returned to my account?

Written by Tim Sedov

You previously placed an order for a media outlet, but the order is no longer active. Here’s what happened to your order and what you can do next.
Your order can be returned to your account in two cases:

  • The media outlet declined your content. You’ll receive an email with the details and reason for the rejection.

  • You didn’t submit your content for a long time, and the media outlet’s price or conditions changed in the meantime.

When this happens, the order is canceled, and the amount you previously paid for it is returned to your account balance. Your text is moved back to Drafts.

You can then choose another media outlet, use your account balance to place a new order, and submit the same text there. You can choose a media outlet yourself or contact your manager for help finding a suitable option by topic and budget.

If you haven’t submitted your text yet, the order is still available in your account. Once you open it for the first time, it becomes a draft and opens a chat with the publisher where you can ask questions or upload your text.
