What Is 1 Year Guarantee Offer?

Written by Oleksandr Storozhuk

PRNEWS.IO provides a post-placement protection service in the form of a guarantee that helps ensure the stability of published Brand Content for up to 1 year.

A 90-day (3-month) guarantee is included by default. A 1-year guarantee can be purchased additionally for 10% of the media price.

This service addresses situations where published content is removed or its core placement conditions are materially changed.

Removal refers to cases where:

  • the website becomes inaccessible, or

  • the Brand Content is deleted or no longer available on the original page.

Change of basic terms refers to cases where:

  • the number or type of client’s links in the Brand Content is changed;

  • the article is moved to another URL or subdomain as part of a structural website change.

Each of the above situations, individually or together, is considered a “Change of Basic Terms”.

In case of Removal or Change of Basic Terms, PRNEWS.IO will:

  • restore the original published state of the Brand Content, or

  • if restoration is not possible, offer a replacement media, or

  • if the alternative is not suitable, provide a 100% refund of the placement cost to the client’s account balance.

If a refund is issued, the guarantee obligation is considered fulfilled.

Important exclusions

The 90-day or 1-year guarantee does NOT apply in the following cases:

  • Contributor Posts

  • time-limited placements explicitly defined as temporary (up to 1 year)

  • changes made by the client (e.g., link redirects or URL modifications after publication)

  • removal caused by changes to the client’s content or website (e.g., shift to prohibited topics such as gambling)

  • removal resulting from client actions or requests

Examples of excluded cases:

  • The client’s project or website topic changes and no longer meets the publisher’s original editorial requirements.

  • The article becomes non-compliant due to legal changes or new factual developments.
