How to Cancel an Order and Get a Refund for Purchased Media?

If you accidentally purchased the wrong media or changed your mind, and the order has not yet been processed, you can easily cancel it.

This includes, for example, cases where orders might not fit the requirements or the topic does not align with what was expected.


To get a refund to your balance:

  1. Go to Transaction History.

2. Select the paid service and click Refund in the context menu.
Delete any text added to the publication first.


3. Confirm the operation.


After the request is processed, the money will be returned to your balance in the payment currency.
You can use it for future orders.

Note: If the order has already been processed - ask the Publisher in the order's chat.
If the order has already been Published - contact Support.

For orders in the “Need Changes” status, you can cancel directly from the order page, and the refund will be automatically credited to your balance. If the publisher declines your order, the payment will be refunded back to your PRNEWS.IO balance automatically.
